15/10Below the field that holds the tombs 2, 6, och 8–15 trial pits were opened. The first of them was positive (tomb 16). The rock lies here almost at the surface and it is relatively easy to trace the tombs.

17/105 m. north of trial pit 5 (the well) lies in a quarry a partly destroyed tomb. One of the tomb chambers was looted in modern times. We are digging for its dromos and possibly other chambers (tomb 17)

18/104 m. north of tomb 17 another tomb was found (tomb 18). About 12 m. southeast of tomb 16 lies a new tomb (tomb 19), and 1.5 m. north of the former another (tomb 20). During the clearing of the dromos to tomb 17, at a depth of 0.35 m. a grinding stone was found (see sketch).

19/10On a field north and east of the vineyard a number of trial pits was opened, one of them at the place where Myres in 1913 had dug and incompletely cleared a dromos to a large Middle tomb. (tomb 21)
