Description

A carved stone head of a bearded man with a broad face, deep-set eyes, and hair and beard rendered as rows of drilled curls. The head rises from a short, broken neck or bust section and stands on a light surface against a plain grey backdrop. The pale stone shows surface wear and pitting, especially in the beard and hair.
