Roman sculpture, Cyprus Museum G.1501.

Description

A sculpted head and neck in profile facing right, shown against a plain grey backdrop. The hair is carved in wavy parallel bands drawn back over the crown, with a thick roll falling down behind the ear. The pale stone surface shows wear, a crack runs across the print, and handwritten notes in blue are partly visible along the bottom edge of the mount.
