Terracotta Minor Plastic

Headless draped statue fragment of grey stone standing on a rectangular base — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn3758. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A headless standing figure wrapped in drapery, with folds falling in curves across the body and one arm bent across the torso, rests on a rectangular base. The grey, slightly worn surface shows light scratches and whitish marks, and the piece fills most of a photograph mounted on a pale card with a number label in the lower right corner.
