Bichrome V jug with a single handle and dark painted bands around its body — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn3732. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A one-handled jug with a tall neck and globular body stands on a small base against a grey backdrop. Dark painted bands encircle the shoulder and lower body, and the surface is worn and flaked, with a crack across the shoulder. A small label is attached to the neck beside a pinched, spout-like lip.
