Description

A round-bodied jug with a tall neck, a pinched rim at the top and horizontal dark bands on the neck. The body carries a painted bird in dark paint, with a long curved beak, a wing filled with concentric curved lines and two long hatched feathers below. Cracks and mended breaks run across the body, and the jug stands on a low foot against a plain grey background.
