Description

A small carved limestone head of an animal, shown in profile facing right, with short rounded ears, a broad muzzle and a raised band encircling the neck. The lower part of the piece is rough and unevenly broken, and the surface is pitted and weathered. It stands on a pale background, lit from the side so the modelling of the head and collar stands out.
