Pottery Bichrome Wheel-made

Rim and body fragment of a wheel-made pottery vessel, photographed against a plain background. — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn3401. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A single pottery sherd photographed in close view, showing a thick rounded rim along the top and a curved body below with horizontal bands or streaks. The surface looks pale on the rim and greyish on the body, and the broken lower edge is irregular. The fragment fills most of the frame against a plain light grey background.
