Description

A painted pottery jug with a single strap handle on the left and a broken, uneven rim. Painted bands run around the neck and body, with a hatched zigzag band below the neck and a bird-like figure on the upper neck. The surface is dark and mottled, and the jug stands on a low foot beside a scale bar at lower right against a pale card mount.
