Description

A barefoot man with a moustache sits on a wooden chair against a whitewashed wall with a wooden door and shutters. He holds a tool to a large, dark, unfinished clay vessel resting on his knees. In front of him a basin of leaves stands on the ground, more leaves lie in a heap, and a clay bowl sits to one side, with jars standing against the wall at right.
