Cypriote Mining: ruler and stones

Description

A large dark, rough stone lump with a pitted, glassy-looking surface sits at left, beside four smaller pale grey fragments on a light card. One fragment has a blackened face, and ink outlines mark small patches on another. Handwritten labels with arrows annotate the pieces, and a centimetre ruler runs along the bottom edge.
