Sherds and a bowl

Bowl and three sherds laid out on a plain background, with a measuring ruler along the top edge — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn2991. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A shallow bowl with a broken, rounded wall sits at left, its pale, encrusted interior showing light and dark patches and a rough dark break on one side. To the right lie a larger sherd with an uneven upper edge and two smaller fragments, all with a crusty, pitted surface. A measuring ruler runs across the top of the frame, and a handwritten number label is in the lower left corner.
