Parts and loops, before conservation (KVHAA archive)

Corroded metal loops, arcs, rods and pins laid out on a pale surface, photographed before conservation — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn2989. Public domain (CC0).

Description

Several dozen corroded metal objects lie across a pale surface: curved arcs, loops, short straight rods and a few small pins, including one with a knobbed head and another with a bulbous top. Their surfaces are encrusted and pitted. A graduated scale bar runs along the top edge, and a number label sits in the lower left corner.
