Tools and points, photographed before conservation in 1933

Five corroded metal points with curled tangs, shown side by side before conservation — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn2926. Public domain (CC0).

Description

Five pointed metal blades stand vertically side by side, tips down, against a plain grey background. Each has a raised central ridge and a narrow tang ending in a curled loop at the top, and the surfaces are rough, pitted and encrusted with lighter patches of corrosion. A measuring scale runs along the right edge, and the print is mounted on a card with handwritten notes along the bottom.
