Iron Tools, C.IV (drawing of tools and nails)

Ink drawing of an iron nail with a domed head and a square, tapering shank — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn2341. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A pen-and-ink drawing of a single nail shown upright on a pale card. The flat domed head at the top is drawn with stippled shading, and the long shank narrows slightly toward a pointed tip at the bottom. Stippling and fine hatching suggest corrosion and the metal's surface.
