Hellenistic Wares (C.M.811)

Description

A black-glazed vessel with a wide flat rim, a tall neck and a rounded body, photographed against a plain grey backdrop. A vertical handle rises from the shoulder to the rim, and two curved handles sit at the sides, while the lower body is covered with fine vertical grooves. The glaze is worn and flecked with light patches in places, and the vessel stands on a stepped ring foot.
