Description

A dark pottery sherd with a tapering, pointed outline and a curved upper edge is shown on a pale card with a cut-out border. A band of pale, closely spaced impressed marks runs along the upper part of the fragment, and the lower surface has scattered pale flecks and a worn area. Handwritten pencil initials and a small printed number label appear in the corner of the card.
