Description

A carved limestone head shown in right profile, resting on a dark cylindrical base against a plain grey backdrop. The hair is combed in grooved waves over the top of the head and bound by a band of rounded, bead-like knobs above the forehead. The nose is broken at its tip, and the surface is pitted and worn, especially along the jaw and neck.
