Limestone statue of a figure with ridged hair, a bead necklace and one arm bent at the waist — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, Csn0425. Public domain (CC0).

Description

Three-quarter view of a limestone statue of the head and upper body, against a black backdrop. The head wears a close-fitting ridged cap with a band of beads across the brow and a long lock by the ear with a large earring. A bead necklace crosses the chest above a incised grid pattern, and the bent arm holds a small object at the waist; the pale surface is chipped.
