Terracotta Proto-Cypriote II, Photo Bonniers

Description

A large, reconstructed terracotta statue of a standing bearded man stands on a dark wooden plinth set on a lighter base. He wears a headband, a short-sleeved garment and a long skirt-like robe, and holds one hand up near his chest. Many cracks run across the body, showing the statue has been pieced together, and the surface is pale with some fine incised detail on the beard and skirt.
