Terracotta Proto-Cypriote II, Photo A. Holmström

Description

Head and upper torso of a large statue with a wrapped headdress, incised eyes, nose, mouth and beard lines, and one arm bent upward at the right. Cracks and mended joins run across the chest and shoulder, and a dark shadow falls on the plain wall behind. The lower body is cut off by the bottom edge of the frame.
