Limestone Neo-Cypriote

Description

A carved limestone head seen in right profile, standing on a dark cylindrical stand against a grey backdrop. A flat band with a rosette ornament sits above the brow, and the ear, eye, nose and lips are clearly modelled. The surface is pitted and weathered, and the neck ends in a broken edge at the base.
