Limestone Neo-Cypriote

Description

A carved limestone head shown from the front on a dark cylindrical stand against a plain grey backdrop. The face has heavy-lidded almond eyes, a small mouth and a rounded chin, and the head wears a smooth cap-like covering with a ridge at the brow. The surface is cracked and chipped at the jaw, the neck is broken off at its base, and a number label is fixed to the stand.
