Description

A carved limestone head is shown in right profile on a dark cylindrical pedestal against a plain grey background. The top of the head is smooth and rounded, the ear is large and projecting, and the nose and lips are sharply modelled. The neck ends in a rough, broken base, and the stone surface is pitted and cracked with weathering.
