Description

A wide street runs beside the sea on the left, with rows of wooden barrels and stacked timber along the quayside. Two horse-drawn carts with canvas hoods stand in the road, and people walk on the pavement and among the carts. On the right, a multi-storey stone building with arched doors and balconies lines the street, and a long pier with small boats extends into the water in the background.
