Silver mounting (V. 228)

Group of about two dozen corroded metal rods with bead-like swellings, laid out on a pale grey background — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C06543a. Public domain (CC0).

Description

About two dozen elongated metal pieces lie in loose rows on a pale grey background. Each has a series of rounded swellings along its length, like beads on a string, and the surfaces look rough and pitted. Some pieces are darker and others greyer, and a few taper to a point or end in a flat, widened tip.
