Bronze, Mountings, Fragments, sheet (V.288)
Description
Five fragments of corroded metal sheet lie spread across a pale background, photographed from above. The two larger pieces at the top and bottom show raised ridges, curved bands and rounded bosses, and the lower pieces carry a close pattern of small domed studs. The surfaces are dark, pitted and encrusted, and the edges are broken and irregular.
