Bronze, Mountings, Fragments, ring (V.455)

Corroded bronze ring fragment from Vouni with a bent, tapering extension at the top — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C06527a. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A close view of a corroded metal object: an irregular, roughly oval loop with a thicker, bent extension rising from its top edge and curling back over the ring. The surface is pitted and crusted, and the object lies against a plain pale card background. A handwritten blue number appears in the top left corner.
