Limestone Cypro-Greek II head, Vouni III-IV, from a cast
Description
A sculpted head in profile facing right, wearing a close-fitting cap with a raised band, with a large spiral-curled ear and a short neck. The surface is pitted and worn, while the nose, lips and eye are still clearly modelled. The neck rests on a rectangular stone base, with a pale painted line around the neck near the base, against a plain grey backdrop.
