Description

A carved female head in pale limestone, shown frontally within a round disc with a raised rim. The hair is parted at the centre and falls in ridged waves beside the face, with heavy almond-shaped eyes, a short straight nose and a small closed smile. The surface is rough and pitted, and the disc rests on a plain block against a dark backdrop.
