Terracotta Proto-Cypriote I

Description

The terracotta head and upper neck of a statue are shown in three-quarter view against a plain light background. A tall conical cap with a visible join sits above a smooth face with a long nose, a full mouth and an almond-shaped eye, and a modelled ear is on the side. The neck has a hairline crack, and a fragment of the shoulder is visible at the bottom edge.
