Terracotta Proto-Cypriote I

Description

A terracotta head with a tall conical cap, turned slightly to the left. The cap's rim sits low over the brow, and the face has a large almond-shaped eye, a prominent nose with a chipped tip and a small mouth. The ears are modelled in relief, the chin is broken, and a short neck stub remains at the base, shown against a pale background on a card mount.
