Terracotta Proto-Cypriote I

Description

A terracotta head in three-quarter view against a pale background, with a tall tapering top that has a ragged opening at the crown. It has large almond-shaped eyes, a long straight nose, a closed mouth with a thin lip line, and large flat ears, and the surface shows small dark specks and shadowed cheeks. The neck is a short stump, and the print is mounted on a card with a light border.
