Limestone Cypro-Greek I Vouni I-II

Description
The head is carved in pale limestone with a faint smile, narrow almond-shaped eyes and a full mouth. A band of twisted rope-like moulding and a row of leaf or flower motifs form a crown above the forehead, and curled locks fall beside the ears. The rough lower edge of the neck shows it was broken off, and the head stands on a plain wooden cylinder against a light backdrop.
