Terracotta Proto-Cypriote I

Description

Upper body of a terracotta statue of a bearded man wearing a tall conical cap and a small ring earring. He has large almond-shaped eyes, a pointed beard and a short-sleeved garment with a raised band across the shoulder. Fine cracks run across the surface, and the figure is shown against a plain pale backdrop, cut off at the bottom of the frame.
