Terracotta Proto-Cypriote I

Description

A tall terracotta figure in profile facing left, with a cylindrical body that flares into a broad foot. The head has a tapering cap and a pointed nose, with a small beard under the chin. The bent arms rest across the chest, and a band of applied vertical strokes runs around the lower body; a pale restored patch shows on the head.
