- Description, scan 2
- Four small rings, each a thick band that coils and overlaps itself, lie on a plain grey background and are shown from different angles. Their surfaces are pale with dark patches of corrosion, and the hollow centres reveal the backdrop. The objects are placed in a square arrangement, one in each corner of the sheet.
- Description, scan 3
- A corroded metal ring lies at an angle, its surface mottled with dark and pale patches, with a second thinner band curving behind it at the upper left. The ring is shown on a pale grey card mount, with a soft shadow beneath it and part of a handwritten label visible at the bottom edge.
- Description, scan 4
- A photograph of a ring seen straight on, with a dark, pitted and heavily corroded band around a pale, hollow centre. The ring is set on a pale card with a cut corner, and a faint blue smear shows below it. A thin lighter edge runs along the inner circle of the ring.
- Description, scan 5
- A thick ring of corroded metal is seen at an angle from above, with a pale rounded inner surface and dark, mottled patches of tarnish. A second curved piece of similar corroded metal lies partly behind it at the lower right. The print is mounted on a pale card with a narrow border, against a plain light background.
