Bone (L.403.5)

Two small find objects from the Kastros tombs at Lapithos: a pin with a knobbed head and grooved shaft, and a short rough rod — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C05307c. Public domain (CC0).

Description

Two separate photographs are mounted side by side on a card. On the left, a slender object stands upright with a round knob near the top, a flared cap above it, and a shaft with ring-like grooves. On the right, a short, rough, rod-like piece with a flat, slightly worn end is shown upright against a grey backdrop.
