Pottery Levanto-Helladic Ware Amphora-Crater (E.3.262)

Description
Close photograph of a large painted pottery vessel, with its shoulder and upper body filling the frame and the top and base cut off. The body carries bands of dotted panels, spiral and scroll motifs, and stylised figures with long legs in dark paint on a pale surface. The vessel is broken and mended, with cracks across the surface and the paint worn in places; a loop handle rises at the upper right.
