Description

A close photograph of the upper body of a large pottery vessel, cut off by the frame at the top and sides. A broad dark band runs below the rim, and a dark, long-necked creature with a small head and hatched body fills the centre of the view. Cracks and restoration lines run across the surface, and a smaller motif with hatched lines appears at the right edge.
