Iron Weapons (L.411.32.a,b,c)

Description
Two dark, heavily corroded iron weapons lie upright side by side against a grey backdrop. The longer one on the left has a narrow blade tapering to a point and a flat cross-guard; the shorter one on the right has a cross-guard and a thicker grip with an uneven, broken top above the guard. Both surfaces are pitted and encrusted with corrosion.

- Description, scan 2
- A single dark iron object is shown against a grey backdrop. It forms an open arc of rod-like metal, with a small ring at the lower left end, knobs or swellings along the upper edge and at the upper left, and a flattened, angular end at the lower right. The surface looks corroded and the object is seen in one view, with no scale or label visible.
- Description, scan 3
- A long, narrow, dark object runs almost the full height of a tall, narrow photograph against a pale grey speckled background. It has a squared upper end and narrows steadily to a point at the bottom, with a slightly rough, corroded surface. A dark patch at the top right corner and a handwritten number label at the bottom left are also visible.
- Description, scan 4
- A grey photo mount holding several separate photographs of corroded iron objects. Long blades cross the upper and middle rows, one with a crosspiece near its hilt end, and a curved blade lies at the lower right. Smaller photographs show a thin ring, a bent rod with a hooked end, a tapering pin and a spike with a rounded head, each beside a blue number label.
