Glyptic, scarab (A.I.2109)

Description

A photograph of a pen drawing on a pale card shows one scarab in three views. At the top is the side profile of the beetle's body, at bottom left its back with a central seam, and at bottom right its flat base. The base has an engraved design of an upright central figure flanked by two curved motifs, with hatching along the top edge and a curved line beneath.
