Glyptic, scarab (A.I.2267)

Description

Three ink drawings are pasted onto a cream mount. At left, an oval scarab is drawn from above, with a segmented head, a line across the wing cases and a central line down the back. At upper right, a low form in profile sits above an oval seal design in a double outline, enclosing branching strokes and curling lines; handwritten number labels run along the bottom edge.
