Pottery Levanto-Helladic Ware Amphora-Crater (E.3.259)

Description
A tall two-handled vessel with a wide rounded body, a short flared neck and a narrow footed base, with handles rising above the rim. Dark horizontal bands run round the lower body, and the upper body carries a worn painted motif of hatched and wavy elements. Cracks run across the surface where fragments have been joined, and the vessel stands on a pale surface against a plain grey backdrop.
