Pottery Levanto-Helladic Ware Amphora-Crater, pyxis (E.3.165)

Description
A squat round vessel with a wide flaring mouth, a small lug handle on the left shoulder and a broad black-painted band around the upper body. Large spirals and wavy S-shaped motifs in dark paint run around the lower body, the photograph showing the vessel on a plain surface against a pale backdrop. The surface shows some chipping and wear, especially around the rim.
