Description

A round-bodied pottery jug with a tall strap handle on the left and a pinched spout at the top right. The surface is mottled brown-grey with dark patches, and a vertical band of cross-hatched painted chequer pattern runs down the right side of the body. The jug stands on a pale, plain surface against a light grey backdrop.
