Stone statue, Arsos VIII-IX (Ar. C.M.)

Description

A carved stone head of a figure with a broad, smooth face, large almond-shaped eyes, a small mouth and a short chin, set on a neck and shoulders. The hair is drawn back in a thick, twisted band across the forehead and falls in ribbed locks at the sides, above a tall fluted cylindrical headdress. The surface is weathered and grey, with pale patches and some dark stains, and the photograph is taken against a plain pale backdrop.
