Terracotta Proto-Cypriote I

Description

A full-length terracotta statue of a standing bearded man, shown from head to bare feet against a draped grey backdrop. The head wears a close-fitting cap, the face has modelled eyes and a beard, and the arms hang straight at the sides. A round knob projects from the upper chest; a broad belt sits above a skirt with horizontal bands, on a pale base.
