Description

A limestone head with a thick band across the brow and a rounded mass of hair or cap above it, seen from a three-quarter angle. The face is broad and rounded, and the surface is pitted and worn, with the nose and other features eroded. The head rests on a squared base block, and a ridged mass of hair falls down the side of the neck against a pale backdrop.
