Limestone Cypro-Greek I statue from Arsos V-VI

Description

A carved limestone head, shown in three-quarter profile facing left, with the face and neck partly broken away at the chin and base. The hair is arranged in layered curled locks over the forehead and a rounded bun or mass at the back, with a large oval disc-like ear ornament below a band of raised rosettes. The surface is weathered and pitted, and the head sits on a plain rectangular base against a pale backdrop.
